Coda: Multiple Galaxies Confirmed

In 1918, observations proved that the sun was not centrally located in the galaxy, but further toward the system's rim. Our sun lost its special place, but in 1925 we gained a new understanding of its motion. It was discovered that together with the other stars, our sun moves in a general motion around the center of the galaxy, much as Wright, and especially Kant, had imagined. In that same year, another suggestion of those eighteenth-century authors was proven: multiple galaxies exist beyond our own.
